In Kundalini yoga I learned a wonderful concept: we are all teachers. We all have an inner guru.
There are those who say fate is something beyond our command. That destiny is not our own, but I know better. Our fate lives within us, you only have to be brave enough to see it. – Brave.

Each Vedic chart contains markers of our inner thoughts, often secret even to ourselves, which manifest our reality. In the Vedic system all actions are “measures” which create your life. The question is, are you doing the measures to attract what you want, or ones that attract what you don’t want?
I want to help you find out.
I want to teach teachers. And by this I mean that the thing I love most is helping others identify their inner truth so that they can go help others identify theirs. I like to do this with both words and pictures, and I’ve been blessed with many tools and opportunities to do that.
I see illustration and storytelling as a type of data visualization which engages, inspires and educates. My readings include stories, metaphors, diagrams, illustrations and teaching aides to introduce each person to this wonderfully empowering system for achieving freedom of choice in life.
I am also an avid researcher of health and nutrition, both animal and human, and have studied and evaluated ancient medical and spiritual traditions my whole life. Science of Light came from my interest in Ayurveda and the use of Vedic (Hindu) Astrology as a diagnostic tool. I also study and develop therapeutic (and delicious) recipes for food, herbal blends and teas based on Ayurveda, including non-Indian dishes. I seek to translate the traditional Ayurvedic lifestyle measures for health and healing into visual and text information that is genuinely useful and understandable for Westerners.
“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; & let them be for signs, & for seasons, & for days, & years.” — Genesis 1:14
In 2009, I found Kundalini Yoga, and began to experiment with the many facets of this ancient practice, all the way back to its roots. I studied under Mehtab Benton to learn the science of Vedic Astrology, Ayurveda, and to deepen my yogic practice. I also draw extensively (with permission) from the work of Barbara Pijan Lama. And when settling any disputes about the true interpretation of Vedic concepts I always refer to David Frawley.
I specialize in “remedial” healing measures to balance and mitigate challenging energies in an individual’s birth chart. I also enjoy making materials to facilitate other Vedic Astrologers’ capacity to educate and connect with people through their readings. Vedic Astrology is a “rabbit hole” of timeless information through which I hope to help people connect with their own guidance and solve the unique puzzle of their life.
I’m also excited about the possibilities of pairing AyurVedic Astrology with marketing, branding, and design through applying its concepts to practical and professional contexts in order to help clients realize their dreams.
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to ask for a spot in my schedule of readings to take a look at your birth chart, and the remedial measures that best fit you, your goals, and your life style.
